Xbox360 sucks.
EA has stated that they have maxed out the 360. They have made it do all it can do. Which backs my judgement 2 years ago that the PS3 was the only next gen system being released. It still has not reached it’s full potential. It doesn’t get the red ring of death 4 times a year annnddddd……… IT’S GETTING A $100 KNOCKED OFF THE PRICE! Totally worth it. Go buy one in August when they axe the price.

yeah,
ps3 is the one to catch and beat.
Eric,
I have to through some evidence in here that must be considered when making your console decisions.
The PS3 has much better hardware no doubts. And as an xbox owner i know that xbox has its issues but what microsoft product doesn’t.
The part i want to argue is the only next gen console. Xbox was release a complete year before the PS3. Its not hard to know you have to do when you already know what everyone else is doing.
The argument is really not who has a better console or which one is more next generation. All of the consoles have their niche they are fitting in the next generation.
Wii – Family Games
PS3 – More Hardcore Gamers
Xbox – Both Family, Hardcore, Community
Here is someone smarty then me that details the differences -> http://www.hardcoreware.net/playstation-3-vs-xbox-360-two-years-later/
I believe that each console has defined different portions of the nextgen console.
Good points Adam. The ps3 did come out a year after the xbox360. So of course it was ahead of that curve. But honestly I don’t think that microsoft was thinking ahead in terms of hardware used when it was developed. It has the ati xenos which is incredibly powerful and ahead of its time… double the power that the ps3′s rsx has actually. It is the 360′s strongpoint. Unfortunatly it falls short on the cpu. Sure its 3.20 ghz just like the ps3 but it is like comparing a dual core to the i7. Any computer guy knows that your computer is only as powerful as the cpu will allow. This is where microsoft fell short. And I think that was their choice to meet the market on price. It will hurt them in the long run though.
